Pandora is a branch of the Music Genome Project that set out to make a taxonomy of music - a big and some would say impossible goal, but they can't call it useless because we have Pandora. Pandora takes as input songs or artists you like and plays songs with similar qualities as per their taxonomy. It's free for 30 hours a week, you can't choose the songs but you can skip 6 per hour.
