Work

  • Fall 2006 - Fall 2007: Teaching Learning Center at Dutchess Community College
The mission of the TLC is to help the faculty at Dutchess keep up with modern teaching technology in the classroom and online. My primary role as a student working there was to help maintain Blackboard (an online course management system) and teach faculty how to use it. I was also able to do ad-hoc web development projects with faculty so long as it pertained to their class. Being a student acting as assistant to faculty was an enlightening position and one that I very much enjoy. Faculty come from a wide variety of disciplines so I had to adjust my style of working in language and practice on an individual basis.
  • Spring 2008 - Fall 2008: Community Relations and Graphics at Dutchess Community College
When I graduated from Dutchess I continued to work there as a "web support specialist" intern. I helped keep the college website going while the department was concerned with developing the new one to be rolled out in the next semester.
  • Summer 2008 - Fall 2008: Ashworth Creative
As a web developer, threw together something like 6 gorgeous websites in two months with a bloody amazing design-aholic designer then had to move to Long Island to continue school.
  • Fall 2009 - Summer 2011: TLT Media Lab at Stony Brook
More ad-hoc web projects. More details as events warrant.
  • Summer 2011 - Present: Athenium
Professional Services Engineer (Software Engineer/Client Integration)

  • Family

Several members of my family have their own websites that I am proud to promote:
